What I collect, and what I do with it.
Your personal information belongs to you. At AIMOPS, protecting your data isn't a boilerplate paragraph: it's a commitment to full transparency, in line with Quebec's Law 25.

AIMOPS is a sole proprietorship based in Montreal, Quebec, operated by Cynthia Charles.
In accordance with Law 25, I am the person responsible for protecting your personal information.

AIMOPS has no premises open to the public. Every request goes through that email address, and I answer it myself.
2. What I collect, and what I don't
I only collect what you give me yourself, plus a strict minimum of technical data.
- Waitlist: your first name, your email address, your field of work and the course that interests you.
- Contact form: your name, your email address, the subject of your message and your text.
- Browsing data: pages viewed, roughly which country you're browsing from and device type, in aggregate and anonymous form.
- Ideas board: the text of the idea or comment you write, nothing else. No name, no email, no account. To keep bots out and limit repeat submissions, I keep a fingerprint derived from your IP address, never the address itself. That fingerprint cannot be traced back to you and only serves to recognize two submissions in a row.
What I never collect. No banking data: payments are processed entirely securely by a certified external partner, and I never see or keep any card number. No sensitive information either: no health data, no origin, no beliefs, no biometrics.
3. Why I collect this information
Your data is used only to:
- Reply to you when you write to me.
- Let you know first when a course launches, if you're on the waitlist.
- Deliver your access and your receipts when you make a purchase.
- Understand which pages of the site are useful, so I can improve the experience.
- Meet my accounting and tax obligations.
I never use your information to profile you or to make automated decisions about you.
4. Your consent
You give your consent explicitly by filling in a form. That consent is separate for each use: joining the waitlist does not subscribe you to any other list.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, and you don't owe me a reason:
- Every email contains an instant unsubscribe link.
- You can also write to me directly at cynthia@aimops.co.
In accordance with Canada's anti-spam legislation, no commercial email is sent to you unless you asked for it.
5. Who your data is shared with
I do not sell, rent or trade any personal information. Ever.
To run AIMOPS, I rely on a few reputable service providers that process certain data on my behalf:
- Website hosting: Cloudflare Pages, by Cloudflare, Inc.
- Forms and email sending: HubSpot, by HubSpot, Inc.
- Anonymous analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, by Cloudflare, Inc.
- Course payments: a certified external payment provider, which processes the transaction and keeps your billing data. I never see or keep any card number.
- Course delivery: the platform hosting the courses and your access keeps your name, your email and your progress.
These providers only have access to what is strictly necessary to deliver their service, and cannot use your data for any other purpose.
The last two only apply once you buy something. Since no course is on sale yet, no payment is processed at this time. Both providers will be named here, and this policy updated, before the first course goes on sale.
6. Hosting outside Quebec
Cloudflare and HubSpot are based in the United States, so your personal information may be hosted there or pass through there, where it is subject to local law.
In accordance with Law 25, I carry out a privacy impact assessment before entrusting information to a provider outside Quebec, to make sure it receives adequate protection.
7. How long I keep it
Once these periods have passed, your data is securely destroyed or anonymized.

8. Your rights under Law 25
At any time, and free of charge, you can:
- Access the personal information I hold about you.
- Correct any information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Withdraw your consent and delete your information, which is the right to be forgotten.
- Request portability of your data in a structured, commonly used technological format.
- Request de-indexing of a link that causes you harm.
To exercise any of these rights, write to me at cynthia@aimops.co. I reply within a maximum of 30 days, as the law requires.
9. How your data is protected
- Encryption: the site is secured with HTTPS.
- Account security: my accounts are protected by complex passwords and two-factor authentication.
- Limited access: AIMOPS has no employees and no subcontractors. Nobody but me looks at your information. The providers named in section 5 process it solely to deliver their service, never for their own purposes.
10. Handling privacy incidents
If an incident affecting the confidentiality of your data were to occur and present a serious risk of harm, I would notify you directly by email, as well as Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information. I also keep an official register of incidents.
11. Cookies and analytics
This site places no tracking or advertising cookies. That is a deliberate choice, out of respect for your privacy.
Analytics are handled by Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-less solution that collects no identifying data and no digital fingerprint.
That is why no cookie banner appears on this site: there is nothing to accept and nothing to refuse.
12. Minors
My services are aimed at professionals and are not directed at people under 18. I do not knowingly collect any information about minors.
13. Changes to this policy
This policy may change as AIMOPS develops. The date at the top of the page indicates the version in force. Any major change will be communicated to you by email.
14. Recourse
If you believe your information has not been handled in line with this policy, write to me first at cynthia@aimops.co.
If my answer does not satisfy you, you retain the right to file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information.
